Who we are
We’re a small, owner-run office inside a neighborhood grocery. Mr. Mc’s Market is the corner store at 21st and Grove, and the notary and apostille desk works the way the store works: you walk in, a person you’ll recognize next time helps you, and you leave with the thing you came for. No call center, no kiosk, no P.O. box.
Most of our notary work is for people and families in Wichita: powers of attorney, healthcare directives, vehicle titles, real estate closings, school and immigration forms. Most of our apostille work is for people sending documents abroad, for dual citizenship, marriage overseas, teaching contracts, foreign employment, and international adoptions. A good share of it comes in Spanish.

How we work
- We tell you the price first. Kansas no longer caps notary fees, so the rule is disclosure: you hear the fee before the stamp comes out. For apostilles, the government fee and our fee are always two separate lines. Pricing →
- We check before you pay. Apostille documents get reviewed for free. If the copy is the wrong kind, the notarization is incomplete, or the destination country isn’t a Hague member, you find out before any money moves.
- We say what we can’t do. We can’t give legal advice, can’t speed up a Secretary of State’s clock, and can’t promise a foreign authority will accept a document. We’ll tell you what we’ve seen work.

Who runs APB Notary?
APB Notary & Apostille is owned and operated by Quantin L. McIntosh, a Kansas-commissioned notary public, and it shares a roof and a team with Mr. Mc’s Market. The person you talk to on the phone is the person who handles your document.
Are you a real notary or a document-prep service?
A real notary, commissioned by the Kansas Secretary of State. We perform notarial acts in person, by mobile visit, and by video (remote online notarization under K.S.A. 53-5a15). For apostilles we act as your courier and paperwork checker; the apostille itself is always issued by the state or federal office.
Do you handle apostilles for documents from other states?
Yes. The apostille has to come from the state that issued the document, so a Texas birth certificate goes to Austin and a Missouri marriage license goes to Jefferson City. We prepare and route requests for all 50 states from Wichita. See where we serve.
Do you speak Spanish?

Can you give me legal advice?
No. We’re notaries, not attorneys. We can tell you what a notarial act requires and what an apostille office will and won’t accept, because we do it every day. We can’t tell you what a document means or whether you should sign it.
