Kansas RON Law — What You Should Know

Remote Online Notarization is fully legal and authorized under Kansas law. The notary must be physically in Kansas during the session — we are, right here in Wichita. The signer can be anywhere in the world.

Every session is recorded (audio and video) as required by law, and recordings are stored securely for at least 10 years. All notarized documents include the required statement: “This notarial act involved the use of communication technology.”

APB Notary is registered with the Kansas Secretary of State to perform RON and uses the Proof platform — the industry’s most trusted RON technology provider. Documents notarized through RON are legally valid and accepted in all 50 states.
